First was to acknowledge the wonderful treatment with Round Rentals in setting up the details for club rentals...this post is after turning in the clubs and to say that they were almost an exact duplicate of my own, thanks to the expertise of James Lalley who diagnosed my fit via emails only. I highly recommend Round Rentals. The clubs they provided were exactly as requested and if they weren’t brand new, they sure seemed like it. Also, they made delivery and pick up of the clubs seamless. Could not be any happier and will use them again when golfing in Scotland. He’s a delight to work with - so accommodating - and his rental clubs are top of the line. The guys in my group who rented clubs from James were the object of envy from the rest of the group as they were playing with the latest from Taylor Made and Callaway. His clubs were all in lightweight carry/stand bags (name brands and also seemingly new). He even provides a choice of shafts to suit a range of levels. Also his service was better - dropping off and picking up from our hotels - and better priced than renting from some of the well known shops in St. Andrews or the courses where we played. Many thanks to James Lally for a very positive experience of renting 2 sets of clubs for my wife and myself for a 2-week golfing holiday in Moray and Fife. The clubs were perfect and, fortunately, we did not need the umbrellas! Pick-up and delivery worked well too with James being very flexible on times and locations. And we had some useful tips on courses in Fife.
